CBO rolls out Rich Ticket scheme

Cyberbackoffice (CBO) has launched a new incentive scheme called Rich Ticket for its LANwriter product.

Said Kirti Poddar, Director, Sales, CBO, “The scheme is unique because it rewards both the reseller organization and its sales staff. Both registered and unregistered resellers are eligible for the scheme.”

Valid till February 10, resellers can get up to 10 percent front-end discount on units bought from CBO, and the sales manager gets a cash reward of 2 percent of the billing price of every unit sold.
LANwriter is an intranet software application for centralized, secure and audited publishing of data to CDs, DVDs, flash drives and FTP servers.

CBO Promises Rich Ticket to Channels

Mumbai-based Cyberbackoffice Technologies has announced Rich Ticket, a scheme, that it promises will help channels to overcome recession.

Rich Ticket is an incentive program to reward the sales executives and sales managers in the partner organizations. The schemes are linked to the sale of two of CBO's products, LANwriter and LANarchiver.

Vinod Nair, Marketing Manager, CBO Technologies informs, "The sales representatives can claim 10 per cent of CBO's invoice value as incentives for sales of LANwriter or LANarchiver. Simultaneously, the sales managers will be entitled for 2 per cent for revenues generated by their sales reps. What is more, the incentives are over and above the usual 40 per cent margins that our partners make."

Rich Ticket will be valid up to February 10, 2009 before which the participants must submit their claims. The scheme is open for all channel companies in India.

CBO is a software development and services company. Its products include e-Desk, MyIdea, Proval, LANwriter, and LANarchiver. Presently the vendor has a presence only in Mumbai through 10 partners. But in the current calendar, the company intends to expand to new regions like Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, and Nagpur.

The company is also planning to rope in a national distributor to gain a wider market coverage.
CBO Technologies earlier functioned purley as the R&D department of Alia Group. It started its independent operations only last year by appointing a few partners in Mumbai. This year, the vendor expects to recruit at least 50 partners across key markets in the country. Through Rich Ticket program, CBO expects to get closer to partners from tier-1, tier-2, tier-3 cities.

Mumbai-based Cyberbackoffice is looking to appoint a national distributor for its software-based product, LANwriter.

Targeting the BSFI, government, ITeS, data publishing and ship-building segments, the company is on the lookout for partners who have a strong focus on these verticals.
“We are currently looking for a distributor who will not only have a presence in India, but also have an international presence. We already have a strong focus in cities like Mumbai and Pune, and want to expand our presence to other metros like Delhi and Bangalore. At a recent partner meet, we appointed eight partners in Mumbai and are planning to appoint at least 10 from each city,” said Kirti Poddar, Director, Sales and Marketing, Cyberbackoffice. The company will train its partners in the new product, and will assist them during sales calls and product demonstrations.

LANwriter is an intranet software application that can be used by organizations for centralized, secure and audited publishing of data to CDs, DVDs, flash drives and FTP servers through a single computer on a network that acts as a device server and data gatekeeper.
The product is priced at Rs 30,000. The price includes a server license and 15 user licenses.
